Surgical Pathology has been described as the "“Pathology of the Living".” It is an evaluation that results in a diagnosis on tissues removed from any organ of the body. As such, it includes a number of subspecialties. Among these are Breast Pathology, GI pathology, GU Pathology, GYN pathology, Hematopathology, Neuropathology, Placental and Perinatal Pathology, and Renal pathology. The Weill ÂÜÀòÉçÆƽâ°æ Medical College is fortunate to have world recognized experts as faculty in each of these areas of subspecialization. These faculty are available for consultation both within and outside the institution.
