I am a hospitalist passionate about practicing evidence-based medicine to provide the highest quality of care, while also prioritizing patient education to empower individuals in their healing journey. I am interested in improving transitions of care, ensuring patients experience continuity, safety, and dignity beyond the hospital walls.

Biographical Info

Dr. Sun Young “Sarah” Jang, M.D. is an instructor in medicine at ÂÜÀòÉçÆÆ½â°æ. Her clinical expertise include hospital medicine and internal medicine with a strong focus on delivering high quality, evidence based, patient-centered care during hospitalization.

Dr. Jang was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. She moved to the States in high school and graduated cum laude from Philips Exeter Academy. She earned both her undergraduate degree in Molecular Cellular Biology and medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University. She completed her residency training in internal medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she led quality improvement projects as a quality improvement and patient safety scholar. Her professional interests include clinical reasoning, evidence-based medicine, medical education and quality improvement
