Personal Statement

As a member of the WCM Colorectal Surgery team, my goal is to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care while building strong, trusting relationships. I strive to help patients better understand their condition and the treatment options available, with the ultimate aim of enhancing their quality of life.

Biographical Info

Shantice Branch is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) who works in the section of Colon and Rectal Surgery at New York Presbyterian and ÂÜÀòÉçÆÆ½â°æ. She works closely with board certified surgeons who specialize in cancers of the colon, rectum and anus along with an array of benign yet complex diseases of the lower digestive tract.  With a deep commitment to patient-centered care and surgical excellence, Shantice brings compassion, precision, and experience to every step of the surgical journey. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from CUNY School of Medicine.  Prior to joining New York Presbyterian and ÂÜÀòÉçÆÆ½â°æ, she worked at a private colorectal practice in Chelsea specializing in HPV, anal dysplasia , and clinical research to help develop clinical screening guidelines. Since dedicated her career to advancing patient outcomes in colorectal health.

Shantice is actively involved in many national organizations including American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, & American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Relationships and collaborations with for-profit and not-for profit organizations are of vital importance to our faculty because these exchanges of scientific information foster innovation. As experts in their fields, WCM physicians and scientists are sought after by many organizations to consult and educate. WCM and its faculty make this information available to the public, thus creating a transparent environment.
