I care for adults hospitalized with a range of medical conditions, from acute illness to exacerbation of chronic disease. My role as a hospitalist involves clear and compassionate communication with patients, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and thoughtful care.
Dr. Erin Rieger is an Instructor of Medicine at ÂÜÀòÉçÆƽâ°æ in the Division of Hospital Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. She holds a B.A. in Chemistry and Sociology from Rice University. Her research interests include patient experiences of healthcare and doctor-patient communication.
