About Ehsan Izadmehr, M.D.
I believe in providing compassionate, patient-centered care that treats the whole person, not just the disease. I was drawn to medicine through a deep desire to support people during their most vulnerable moments, and I find hospital medicine especially rewarding because it allows me to help patients navigate complex and often critical stages of care. My approach is grounded in clear communication, teamwork, and evidence-based treatment. I strive to ensure every patient feels heard, respected, and confident in their care plan.

Dr. Izadmehr has a long-standing dedication to advancing medical knowledge. As an undergraduate, he studied the neural mechanisms underlying behavior and their links to neuropsychiatric disease. In medical school, he developed an interest in applying clinical observations to research—such as exploring disparities in transplant outcomes by identifying modifiable risk factors that may impact screening practices. During residency, as part of the Clinical Investigator Track, he examined the impact of vascular access challenges on outcomes in adults with congenital heart disease. His current research interests include structural and preventive cardiology.
