About Alan Ge, M.D.
I am an internal medicine physician dedicated to caring for adults during their most vulnerable moments in the hospital. I believe in doing what’s best for the patient by staying informed on the most current advances across medicine, meeting each person where they are, and working together to create thoughtful, individualized treatment plans. I have a special interest in clinical decision making and the prevention of ASCVD, as well as the intersection of AI, medicine, and technology—fields I believe will shape the future of human health.
Dr. Alan Ge is an internal medicine physician who specializes in the care of hospitalized adults. He grew up in Connecticut and received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Northwestern University before earning his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the Montefiore Medical Center / Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, where he also participated in dedicated tracks in Hospital Medicine and Biotech Innovation. - Prior to joining Weill ÂÜÀòÉçÆƽâ°æ in 2025, Dr. Ge gained diverse experience in both clinical and non-clinical roles. Before medical school, he worked in a physical therapy clinic and at a health tech startup focused on developing software to modernize sterile processing workflows in hospitals. During residency, he mentored medical students and led quality improvement initiatives, including a project focused on the use of continuous glucose monitors in patients with type 2 diabetes on insulin therapy in the primary care setting. Dr. Ge’s clinical interests include diagnostic reasoning and the prevention of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. His research interests lie at the intersection of AI, medicine, and technology, with a focus on how emerging tools can support clinical decision making and improve patient care. He has presented his work nationally at major conferences, including the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions and the Heart Rhythm Society Scientific Sessions. His academic work includes a peer-reviewed publication in JAMA Internal Medicine examining the cardiovascular diagnostics offered by executive health programs at top-ranked cardiology hospitals. Dr. Ge remains committed to contributing to the future of medicine through both bedside care and innovation.
